“God Is Working” is a design inspired by beach life and God’s promise to work all things for our good. We, like many of you, love beaches! They are some of the best examples of God’s creative power and beauty. We also go there to experience relaxation and restoration. When we’re there, we tend to forget about our normal routines and work responsibilities. In fact, people create email replies to let others know they will be unavailable to respond to work-related requests while they are on vacation.
Have you ever asked God for help, and felt like you received one of those “out of office” replies?
If you have, you’re not alone. We tend to experience this feeling most strongly when our frequent prayers are met with no tangible signs of help. During these times, life starts to feel like God decided to take a break from helping us. However, the truth of the matter is that God isn’t on vacation. He’s not ignoring us, and He hasn’t forgotten about us.
Just like Romans 8:28, the writing in the sand of this design reminds us that God is working all things together for our good. He did NOT say we would always feel good about life’s circumstances. However, He does promise to somehow weave them all together for our good. Therefore, whether He chooses to give us what we pray for or something different, let’s thank and praise Him for always showering us with His perfect love and grace!
