God Is In Control

Today, an increasing number of people are turning toward politics to advance their interests and get their needs met. Sadly, this trend is even occurring within the Christian community. Friends, although God ordained the institution of government, He never called His people to put their trust and hope in any government or politician.

God's word reminds us that He alone is Creator and Ruler of everything. He alone is the Provider of everything we need. He creates and rules over every Democrat, Republican, Independent, conservative and liberal. Our God was in control before He created the world. He's in control now, and He'll be in control long after every political group ceases to exist.

Therefore, as we continue participating in our country’s political process, let’s remember these things:

• Our God is always in control and fulfilling His plan on earth - no matter who wins an election.

• Our Heavenly Father will always provide for His children's needs.

• Our participation must always align with God's truth and love for all people - including those with whom we respectfully disagree.
